Ida M. Meserole Obituary
Meserole, Ida M.Ida M. Meserole, 85, of Cherryville, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 07, 2014. Her husband of 47 years, Elmer W. Meserole, preceded her on November 15, 2009. Born in Philadelphia on August 12, 1928, she moved to Montrose, PA where they raised three children before relocating to the Allentown area in 1978. She was a daughter of the late George Sr. and Ophelia (Enoch) Robinson. Ida was a graduate of Frankford High School in Philadelphia, class of 1946. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Ida was an active member of Covenant United Methodist Church of Klecknersville. She enjoyed needlepoint, quilting and painting. Ida will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors: She is survived by her three (3) children, Paul Meserole and his wife, Renee of North Wales, Keith Meserole of Audubon, and Sharon Scheller and her husband Geoffrey of Allentown; seven (7) grandchildren, George, Jason, Emily, Rachel, Sarah, Rebekah, and Mary; a brother, Warren Robinson of Sarasota, Florida; nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, Elmer, she was preceded in death by two (2) brothers, George Jr. and Joseph Robinson, and a sister, Adeline Gaehring. Services: will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. in Covenant United Methodist Church, 2715 Mountain View Drive, (Klecknersville) Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the church. Interment will follow in Covenant United Methodist Cemetery, Point Phillips. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Moorestown - Bath. Contributions: in lieu of flowers may be made in memory of Ida to Covenant United Methodist Church.
