Wiessner, Edward M.Edward M. Wiessner, 89, of Northampton passed away August 25, 2914 at Whitehall Manor. He was married to Theresa M. (Zgebura) Wiessner for 60 years. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Frank and Ida (Bodisch) Wiessner. A member of Mack Local #677, he was an assembler for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown and Macungie. Previously, he was a blacksmith for the former Giant Cement Co., Egypt. A Naval veteran, he served his country honorably in WWII. He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton. He was an honorary member of the Coplay Saengerbund. Survivors: Wife, daughter, Karen wife of Michael Oswald of Greentown; grandchildren, Kim, Clint, and Krystal; great-grandchildren, Breana, Mia, and Matthew. He was predeceased by brothers, Frank, John, William, Raymond, Alfred; and sisters, Ida, Emma, Margaret, and Anna. Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton: Viewing from 9 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, Robert A.
