Charles Solt Obituary
Charles A. Butch Solt III, 62, of Towamensing Twp, died Sunday morning along with his wife, Sue A. Solt, in their home. They were married 43 years last October. They were a loving and devoted couple. He worked as a game warden for the Pennsylvania Game Commission for many years. Butch and Sue were members of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Big creek. He was also a member of American Legion Post 314, and a 32nd degree Mason in F&AM Lodge 621, both in Lehighton, and the Bowmanstown Rod & Gun club. He served in the US Navy during the time of the Vietnam war. Born in Allentown, Butch was a son of the late Charles A. Jr. and Laura E. (Correll) Solt. Survivors: Sister Janet, wife of Charles Blacketter of Douglassville (Berks Co.); aunts; uncles; nieces, Cynthia and Susan; nephew David; cousins. Services: Together with his wife, 11 a.m. Saturday, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave, Palmerton. Call Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. Contributions: St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 414 Old Mill Rd, Lehighton 18235.

To the family of Chuck and Sue,
I can hardly believe they are gone. I just spoke to them a few days ago.They were both good friends to my parents and my parents are gone many year but they still had good memories of going fishing together. I want to send my thoughts and prayers to the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
