Shirley R. (Haldeman) Reph, 59, of Lehigh Township, passed away Monday. February 01, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Ricky C. Reph with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage last August 16. Born in Treichlers on October 28, 1950, she was a daughter of Gladys E. (Brunner) Olewine of Palmerton and the late Charles Olewine. She was a graduate of Northwestern High School class of 1969. Shirley was passionate about Avon products and worked as an Avon sales representative for many years. She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Emmanuelsville, where she taught Sunday School and was active in many church functions. She loved children and especially enjoyed babysitting. Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Ricky, she is survived by her mother, Gladys E. (Brunner) Olewine of Palmerton; two daughters, Cheryl Ann M. Haas and her husband, Walter, Sr. and Sherry L. Huber and her husband, David, Sr., all of Palmerton; three brothers, Ray Haldeman of Lehighton, Thomas Haldeman of Whitehall and Gary Olewine of Trachsville; a sister, Sally Bennicoff and her husband, Edward of Oreifeld; four step-brothers and two step-sisters; four grandchildren, Franklin Haas, Walter Haas, Jr., David Huber, Jr. and Alexis Huber; many nieces and nephews. Services: Will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, (Emmanuelsville) Bath, PA 18014, Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the George G. Sensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath and Friday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Union Cemetery. Contributions: May be made in memory of Shirley to the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund.
