Bettina Maria Carroccetto Obituary
"> Bettina Maria Carroccetto
Bettina Maria Carroccetto, 29, of Wesley Chapel went to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 7, 2010, following a tragic car accident. Born November 8, 1980 in Easton, PA to parents Al and Susan Carroccetto, Bettina is also survived by her two loving brothers, Charles and Alfio. The three of them were never far apart and the emptiness and sorrow they feel for the loss of their beautiful sister will never be completely healed. Bettina moved with her family to Florida in 1997 and began working towards her dream of working in the medical field. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Biology and began working at St. Josephs Hospital after receiving her RN. She loved working with children and her job at St. Josephs Pediatric Emergency Room and thought of her co-workers as extended family. We, her family, would like to thank each one of you for loving Bettina and being her friends. When Bettina wasnt working, she enjoyed going to the beach, or to a concert (especially the Dave Matthews Band), or spending time with friends. There is no doubt that her very favorite thing to do was spend time with her best friend Angie and her Godchildren Dominic, Lydia and Eliza Denninger. Her love for and from the entire Denninger family is immeasurable. Thank you Angie, Mike, Tom, Janet, Sal, Vinnie, Sharon and Steve for making Bettina part of your family and loving her so completely. Bettina was also Godmother to Isabella Verschage, the daughter of Bettinas close friends Mike and Maria Verschage. Survivors: In addition to her parents and brothers, Bettina is survived by Grandparents Cirino Carroccetto and Jerry and Velma Pardue, Godparents Ben and Maria Carroccetto and Cousin Carmelina (Mario) Lombardi of Easton, PA, Aunts Vicki, Bianca and Carolyn, Uncles Steve, Wayne, Jeff (TX) and Mitch, and numerous cousins in California. Bettina is predeceased by her Grandmother Carmela Carroccetto (May 09). The list of friends she leaves behind is never ending because she touched everyone she met and if you didnt fall in love with her the first time, you certainly did when you met her again. Services: Bettina was a devout Catholic and a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Temple Terrace. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Terrace Oaks Chapel 12690 N. 56th Str. Temple Terrace with a Rosary Service taking place at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be said on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56th Str. Temple Terrace. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens, 11531 Hwy 301 Dade City. Friends and family are invited to share in the celebration of Bettinas beautiful life at the family home immediately following the services. The following is a prayer that Bettina recited every single day. She would be proud to have you adopt it as your own so that your lives may be filled with compassion, peace and love. Mary, Help Me Holy Queen, Mother of Mothers Consolation and protectress of all Christian motherhood Mother Mary, help me. In all the trials and sorrows that come into my day, Dear Mary, help me. When I am tired with my labor and despondency is upon me Dear Mary, help me. When all looks dark and I find none to speak a consoling or cheering word Dear Mary, help me. When I am wearied by the weight of countless vexing little things and my patience is sorely tried, Dear Mary, help me. In the impatience and rudeness of others, by the example of your mildness, Dear Mary, help me. When others speak sharply to me and I would speak harshly in return, That I may show the gentleness of your own kindly speech, Dear Mary, help me. When my efforts seem to bear so little fruit And to be so little appreciated and I am discouraged, Dear Mary, help me. When a thousand worrisome distractions and annoyances come into my day And it seems so hard to keep my peace at heart, Dear Mary, help me. When all others seem to fail, then especially with the sweet support Of your gentile aid, Dear Mary, help me. In all things, Mother, assist me! That I, like you, with patience turn all my trials Into spiritual treasures; that I may grow ever more like you, the cherished Queen of the Most Holy Family, Dear Mary, help me.
