Ronald A. Trumbauer
Ronald A. Trumbauer, age 65 of Petersburg, West Virginia formerly of Topton passed away Friday in Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Virginia. Husband of Dolores J. (Billiard) Trumbauer. He was born in Rockland Township son of Arthur Trumbauer of Dorneyville, Lehigh County and the late Elsie (Kline) Trumbauer, Ron the former owner of Trumbauer Heating and Plumbing of Topton for many years, leaving the business in September of 2000. For the next six years he worked at Spruce Lake Retreat in Canadensis, PA. 2006 he retired to his farm Eden West in Petersburg, West Virginia where he loved to garden and grow flowers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Petersburg, WV. A member of the Ruritan Club of Petersburg and is the current president. He also was a member of the Kutztown Grange. Graduating from Brandywine High School in 1962. Survivors: Survivors include his wife; father; and daughter, Connie M. (Trumbauer) Metzger; and friend, Troy Tipton of Grove, OK; two sons, Butch C. A. Trumbauer of Fleetwood, Brian R. and wife Amy Trumbauer of Topton; also surviving are three sisters, Shirley (Trumbauer) wife of Donald Peiffer of Lenhartsville, Mary (Trumbauer) wife of Randy Caldwell Manheim, Carol (Trumbauer) Proctor, Manheim; two brothers, Terry Trumbauer and wife Alice, Reading, Alan Trumbaurer and wife Jennifer of Easton; there are six grandchildren, Jamie Metzger, Austin Metzger, Devin Metzger, Zach Trumbauer, Emma Trumbauer and Charlie Trumbauer; also surviving is his loving dog, Alex. Services: Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. from the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, Inc., 117 West Main Street, Fleetwood. Viewing time is Thursday evening 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Burial in Hope Cemetery, Lyons. Contributions: Contributions can be made to Samartians Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
