Lucas E. Cafouros, 91, of Allentown died Saturday May 1, 2010 at the Lehigh Center Macungie. He was the husband of Marjorie S. (Simmons) Cafouros, they were married 35 years last March. Born in Indianapolis Indiana he was the son of the late James and Lucille (McCormick) Cafouros. He was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church in Cetronia. He attended Muhlenberg College. He was a 32nd Mason at the Bargor Greenleaf Lodge Lehigh Consistory and the Rajah Shrine. Lucas served in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander during World War II where he served for FLTOSCAP McArthur Staff in Tokyo, and he served in Yokosuka Japan in the CNB Staff during the Korean War. He was owner of Cedar Crest Realty for 45 years retiring in 1993, he served as President of the Allentown Board of Realtors and Vice President for District 1 Pennsylvania Board of Realtors. Survivors: Lucas was survived by his wife; stepson, Jeffrey Crane and wife, Patricia of Allentown; and granddaughter, Danielle Crane; brother-in-law.
