Robert L. Buddha Mace, Jr., 78, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in his home, surrounded by family. He and his wife, Rose Marie (Prebula), recently celebrated their 27th anniversary. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Dorothy A. (Weidner) Mace, Sr. He was a 1950 graduate of Allentown High School. Prior to retiring in 1992, Buddha was employed at the Morning Call as a compositor and linotype operator for 42 years. He was a life member of Fearless Fire Company and member of Franklin Fire Company. He was also a member of Club 30, retirees of the Morning Call. He was an avid golfer, bowler and card player. Survivors: Wife; sons, Brian W. and wife, Carol, Chuckey, TN, Richard P. Moyer and wife, Suzy, Coopersburg; daughters, Debra L. Kern and husband, Willard, Catasauqua, Sharon L. Ackerman and husband, Ronald, Allentown, Kathleen M. Huston, Princeton, NJ; brothers, Ronald R. and wife, Marlene, Center Valley, William H. and wife, Laura, Allentown; grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Stacie, Mark, Holly, Tony, Kaitlyn, CJ, Alex, Grace; great grandchildren, Tyler, Haley, Jenna, Nicole, Valerie, Devon; niece, Pamela. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 1335-37 W. Linden St. Call 9:30 until service time.
