Stephen Mish Obituary
Stephen J. Mish, 87, of Northampton died Friday, January 7, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. Stephen and his wife Teresa A. (Schlager) Mish celebrated 61 years of marriage in October. Born June 18, 1923 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Martin and Suzzana Mish. Stephen was the owner and operator of Steve Mish Glass Shop in Northampton for over 40 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, Coplay. Survivors: Besides his wife, Teresa; a daughter, Diane, wife of James Kernick, of New Tripoli; a grandson, Ryan Kernick; sisters, Anna Mish of Hellertown, Margaret Bolcar of Bethlehem; a brother, Edward Mish and his wife Anna of Hellertown. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 14 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Coplay. Burial will follow in St. Peters Parish Cemetery. Contributions: Memorials may be presented to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research c/o Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St. Northampton, PA 18067.

Im truly sorry about your lost.I only new Mr.Mish for a little but he was a great guy to be around. My prayers are with you and your family He will be truly missed.

Mrs. Mish & family. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Mish's pasing. I will always remember as a kid hearing him whistle and the music being played from his shop. As I grow older there are things you never forget from your childhood such as the neighborhood you grew up in and Mr. Mish was a part of it. Like a staple. I hope my kids will get the same chance to remember good people in there neighborhood like I did. God bless you all and my sincere condolences.
