Timothy John Kerson, 48, of Macungie PA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (April 30, 2011). He was born in Allentown a son of Allan M. and the late Marie A. (McFadden) Kerson. He was married to Denise (Ross) Kerson for 20 years. Tim was employed by Infra-Metals in Langhorne. Previously, he was employed at Namasco and for 20 years at Bushwick-Koons Steel in Parker Ford. He graduated from William Allen High School in 1980 and attended De Sales University. Tim was a devoted husband, father, uncle and coach who loved being involved with his sons sports teams. He also had a passion for fishing. He was a member of St. Thomas More Church. Survivors:Wife, Denise; sons, Nicholas R. and Andrew A. at home; father, Allan of Allentown; sister, Deborah wife of Douglas Benedict of Winchester MA; sister in law, Stephanie wife of Art Klidonas of Lithia FL; mother and father in law, Arline and Richard Rossi of Auburndale FL, niece and nephew, Jennifer and James Benedict; and nephews, Dylan and Zack Klidonas. Services: Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday May 7 in Robert C Weir Funeral Home, 18th & Turner Sts., Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial 2 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown PA. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown PA.
