Kenneth Stocker, 90, of Easton, PA passed away Friday (May 20, 2011) in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp. He was born on August 14, 1920 in Easton a son of the late Alfred and Audrey Caffey Stocker. Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife Lillian Grace (Fretz) Stocker. He was employed as Sheriff for Northampton County for 19 years until his retirement in 1989. Prior to becoming Sheriff, Kenneth was employed as an Easton Police Officer for 20 years. He served as assistant director of recreation for the City of Easton and was instrumental in the start up of the Midget Baseball Program for the City. He was a member of the F.O.P. Washington Lodge, P.A.L., Moose Club and Democratic Club in Wilson Boro. Kenneth served our country in the US Navy during WWII as a machinist mate 2nd Class. Survivors: Kenneth is survived by his wife, the former Ethel B. Oncheck who together celebrated 25 years of marriage; his daughter Pamela Stocker of Allentown; step-daughters Patricia and husband James Matchette of Bethlehem, Ann and husband John Achatz of Forks Twp.; step-son Lou and wife Janet Pacchioli of Ivyland, PA; a sister Audrey Bell; a brother Alfred Stocker, Jr.; grandchildren Tammy Kobli, Kyle and Curtis Stocker; step-grandchildren Lauren Retos, Adam Matchette, Bryan Pacchioli, Leah Bailey, Kaylyn Pacchioli; great grandchildren Mitchell Kobli, Cheyenne Kobli and step-great grandchildren Cole Retos, Chase Pacchioli, Megan Pacchioli and Emma Pacchioli. A son Barry Stocker and a brother William Stocker preceded Kenneth in death. Services: Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. Contributions: Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Kenneth.
