Kelly A. Quier, 42, of Walnutport, PA., died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Upper Nazareth Twsp., PA. She was the wife of David P. Quier, Jr., together they celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary this May 8, 2011. Born in Summit Hill, PA. she was the daughter of the late William Derau, III and Elizabeth (Williams) Derau of Walnutport, PA. Kelly was a Bus / Van Driver for First Student of Northampton, PA. serving the Northampton Area School District for the past seven years. She was of the Catholic Background. She along with her husband were members of the Friday Night Mixed Bowling League at Hampton Lanes, Northampton; They also were members of the APA Traveling Pool League, Northampton, PA.; She attended Allentown Business School for two years pursuing a degree in Travel and business. One of her hobbies was floral arranging with silks. Survivors: Along with her husband and Mother are a son, Justin M. Quier of Walnutport, PA; one sister, Ms. Patricia A. Derau of Lansford, PA; one brother, William N. Derau and wife Elizabeth of Summit Hill, PA; and two nieces. Services: Are scheduled for Monday June 6, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067, where the family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011 and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday prior to services. Fr. Edward McElduff will officiate. Interment will follow services at Indianland Cemetery Association in Walnutport, PA.
