Dorothy L. (Mohnhaupt) Peters, 82, of Oak Street, Walnutport, died suddenly, Wednesday evening, March 7, 2012, in Walnutport, after being involved in an accident. She was the wife of the late Arthur Milliron and the late Robert Peterswho passed in 1978. Born in Chicago, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Elsa (Tischendorf) Mohnhaupt. Dorothy was owner/operator of the former Rustic Flower Shoppe, Cherryville and the former Peters Creative Handcrafts, Cherryville, for over 10 years, retiring in 1995. She was the creator of the Ooglee Doll. Dorothy was of the Lutheran Denomination. Survivors: Daughters, Laurette wife of Christopher Kovary of E. Norwich, NY, Leslie D. wife of Kenny Dixon of Little Gap, Lower Towamensing Twp.; sons, Arthur A. Gnaegy and companion, Debbie Diefenderfer of Quinton, VA, Michael J. and wife Donna Gnaegy of Homestead, FL; five grandchildren, Holly, Logan, Noelle, Ken and Brad; sisters, Mrs. Maryellen Madigan and Elsa wife of Cecil Dale DeFas, all of Wilson, MI.
