Stanley Stelmach
Stanley Stelmach, 82, of Doerr Road, Quakertown, died April 23, 2012 at Grand View Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline (Schwenk) Stelmach, recently celebrating 56 years of marriage on April 14. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Matuszak) Stelmach. He worked as a Clerk at Benners Hardware Store in Quakertown for 58 years retiring in 2008. He was an avid hunter and was a longtime member of Dyer Hunting and Fishing Club in Potter County. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Rosemarie, wife of Stephen Rush of Pennsburg; two grandchildren, Matthew Rush and wife, Melissa of Green Lane and Heather, wife of Michael Kauffman of Pottstown; two great grandchildren, Courtney and Lyndsey Rush; brother of Anna Stelmach of Horsham and the late Joseph, Mary, Helena and John Stelmach and Genevieve Griffith. Services: 12 noon Friday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA with Rev. Kathy Yoder officiating. Interment follows in West Swamp Mennonite Cemetery, Quakertown. Viewing 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday at the funeral home. Offer comfort at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com. Dear Pauline, Rosemarie and family,
There is a season for everything/ In your season of moruning please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I remember Stan workling at Benner's when I cam in to buy something. He was a terrific guy with a friendly nd welcoming personality. I'm sure you all will miss him. Remember the many memories. In Christian love and with deepest sympathy. Earl M.
