Gary Reinhard Obituary
Gary R. Reinhard, 67, of Slatington, PA, died suddenly, Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Blue Mountain Health System-Palmerton Campus. Born in Pennsville, PA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Pavalko) Reinhard. Gary was employed by the Laborer Union Local 1174, Allentown, PA for 33 years before retiring in 2007. He attended Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath, PA. He was a member of Lappawinzo Rod & Gun Club and the Tri-boro Sportsman Club both of Northampton, PA. He was and avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and sharing time with his family. Survivors: He is survived by his three daughters, Theresa L. wife of Joseph Yashur of Walnutport, PA, Melissa L. wife of Edward Marx of New Tripoli, PA, Nicole Peters of Slatington, PA; four sons, Ralph E. Reinhard of Kunkletown, PA, Gary S. Reinhard and Richard R. Reinhard, both of Slatington, PA, Dominick Giannotti and wife Jennifer of Emmaus, PA; two sisters, Patricia wife of Ernest Ruch of Lehighton, PA, Harriet wife of Randy Klingaman of Trexlertown, PA; two brothers, Richard Reinhard and wife Arlene of Bradford, PA, Russell Reinhard and wife Margaret of Salisbury Twsp., PA; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Services: Services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, prior to the services. Rev. Elizabeth Mitchell will officiatethe services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me"
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you deeply we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating and hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

I am so sorry to hear about Gary. He was a great guy. I remember all the times growing up and visiting. He is now up with "Big Ern". Oh Boy, did they raise some Hell back in the days, and now Heaven will never be the same with them together again!
