Charles A. Bell, 85, of East Allen Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Bonnie L. (Brobst) Bell with whom he shared 37 years of marriage on July 2nd. Born in Rochester, NY on March 25, 1927, he was the son of the late Archie and Louise (Suter) Bell. He was a graduate of Franklin High School, Rochester, NY, class of 1945 and later honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Charles was employed by N.C.R., Allentown for 43 years before retiring as a field engineer. He loved going to the Atlantic City casinos, was an avid golfer and enjoyed puzzles. Charles was a member of the St. Johns United Church of Christ of Howertown. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Bonnie, he is survived by his two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlene Dixon; and his sister, Phyllis Bell. Services: Will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Moorestown - Bath.
