Robert Rinker Obituary

Robert Norton Rinker
Robert Norton Rinker, 91, of Allentown, PA, passed away on December 11, 2012 in Frederick, Maryland. He was the husband of the late Jeanne Lavell Rinker, who died in January 2006. Born in Seattle, WA on August 31, 1921, he grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of the late Harlan Bacher Rinker and Elizabeth Meckie Sorber Rinker, and brother to the late Mildred Jean Rinker. Robert honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Italy. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and MBA from Lehigh University, and worked with PPL in Allentown, PA until his retirement. Survivors: Robert is survived by his son, Robert Lavell Rinker (and his wife, MeLynda Rinker) of Lakeland, FL; and daughter, Claudia Rinker Allemang (and her husband, John D. Allemang, Jr.) of New Market, Maryland; grandchildren, Victoria Rinker Feliciano (and her husband, Anthony Feliciano) of Tampa, FL and Edward Andrew Rinker of Lakeland, FL; great-grandchild, Lydia Rinker of Lakeland, FL. Services: Burial was private in the Sorber/Rinker family plot at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I was fortunate to work with him at PP&L in the early 1970s. He was always a wonderful person with a quick wit and great smile.
