Charles A. Huber
Charles A. Huber, 82, of Emmaus, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, in ManorCare Nursing Home, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of the late Jeane Mae (Wessner) Huber. Born in Ironton, he was a son of the late Allen S. and Mae I. (Wright) Huber. Charles worked for Dubbs Co. for many years before retiring. After retiring, he was a PA State Constable for several years. Mr. Huber was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a life-member of American Legion Post #191 and VFW Post #7088, both in Emmaus. Charles was also a life-member of Tri-boro Sportsman of Northampton, Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club in New Tripoli, Copeechan Fish & Game Club in Schnecksville, Emmaus Flag Day Association, National Rifle Association, BASS-BASS ANGLER Sportsman Society and the Lower Milford Fire Co. #1. Survivors: Sons, Dennis C. and his wife Margaret, of Allentown, Craig S. and his wife Carol of Macungie; grandson, Christopher and his wife Staci of Emmaus; two great-grandchildren; brother, William, and his wife Alma, of Allentown; sisters, Nancy Laudenslager, of Texas, Evelyn Knauss of Whitehall. Charles was predeceased by his brother, James. Services: 10:30 a.m., Monday, Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown.
