Ann Marie Brown, 74, of Palmer Twp. PA, passed away in her home on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Born in Queens Village NY, Ann was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Catherine Margaret (OReilly) Walsh. Ann and her husband, James D. Brown celebrated 51 years of marriage on February 24. She attended Pace College in New York City. Ann worked for the U.S. Trust and DAssern & Co. Brokers prior to her marriage to James. She volunteered in local schools and churches in South Carolina, Huntington, New York, St. Janes Elementary and Notre Dame High School. She was an accomplished seamstress and cook. Ann was an avid bridge and Mahjong player. She enjoyed the ballet, traveling and visiting her children in various states and countries. She was a devoted grandmother and wife. Ann was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal and St. Bernards Catholic Churches. She was also a member of the Northampton Country Club. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by sons Daniel J. Brown of Atlanta, GA, Joseph X. Brown and wife Kimberly of Moline, IL and James C. Brown and wife Natalie of Perigny-sur-yerres, France; daughter Margaret C. Sayers and husband Graham of Naperville, IL; sister Margaret Collins of Midlothian, VA; brother Thomas Walsh of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren Colin and Ian Brown, Benjamin and Matthew Sayers and Magda Brown. Services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am in St. Bernards Oratory, 132 S. 5th St. Easton, PA 18042. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.
