Richard Bruch Obituary
Richard Allan Bruch, 46, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Fountain Hill on January 9, 1967 to Beverly (Burton) Bruch of Rathdrum, ID and the late Dean C. Bruch. Rich worked at Bosch International Corp., Rex Roth, Bethlehem as a hydraulics technician for 30 years until his illness. Survivors: In addition to his loving mother; fiance, Lori G. Betters of Catasauqua; son, Christopher J. Hrin of Bethlehem; sister, Stacie A. and her husband, Stuart M. Wagner, of Rathdrum, ID; best friend, Jay A. Cimerol of Catasauqua; and countless friends. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 2 to 4 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by the service at 4 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or a charity of ones choosing.

Dear Christopher and Bruch Family,
Our hearts go out to all of you during this difficult time. He was taken away from us way to early and he will be missed by all who knew him. The last time I saw Richie was at his Son, Christopher's, Boot Camp Graduation with the Marines in Parris Island, NC. That was 4 years ago. Way to long. He was so proud of Christopher that day. You could just see it on his face. He was a tough and loving Father who wanted to guide, protect, and only wanted the best for his Son. May all the great memories stay close to your heart as they will be the key to healing the heart. I know he will be watching over all who loved him.

I am so incredibly saddened by this news. I have not seen Richard in a few years, but connected with him on LinkedIn about a year ago. I told him we should have a beer together next time I was in town. I had no idea he was ill.
Richard was a terrific guy. I never knew anyone to say anything negative about him. I will always remember what a kind and generous person he was- even as a child. He never complained when I used to "tag along" with him and Rick with whatever they were doing. He was just that kind of person.
While I know many of us are absolutely heartbroken right now, we are all no doubt better people for having known someone like Richard Bruch.
May you rest in peace old friend. You have earned your place in heaven. May God bless you and your family.
