Jack Utt Obituary
Jack H. Utt, 72 of Kutztown, PA passed away in his residence on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. He was born in Kempton, a son of the late Clyde F. and Margaret L ( Henry) Utt. He was employed as a tow motor operator for East Penn Mfg. of Lyons, Pa. for 28 years retiring in 2005. Prior to that he worked at the former Wenton Shoe Co., Kutztown, for 20 years. Jack enjoyed helping his relatives on their farms throughout his retirement. He was also an avid Nascar fan. He was of the protestant faith. He was a member of the Foglesville Fire Co; the Kutztown Rod and Gun Club; a social member of the Macungie Veterans Assn. and the Breinigsville V.F.W.Post 82, as well as holding memberships in various other organizations. Survivors: Survivors include a daughter, Gail J. Utt at home; a son, Michael J. Utt of Slatington; eight sisters: Darlene ( Nevin) Young and Sharon ( Terry) Stopp, both of Kutztown; Deanna Ehrets, Bonnie ( Brian) Snyder and Donna ( Dennis) Snyder, all of New Tripoli; Joyce ( Thomas) Wentz of New Ringgold; Penny Brensinger of Topton, and Patti Snyder of Kempton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by siblings Pauletta J. Reichard and Ronald C. Utt. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Thursday Sept. 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Nester Funeral Home-8405 Kings Highway ( Rt. 143) New Tripoli, PA, 18066 , with calling hours beginning at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Scott L. Shay officiating. Interment in Jacobs Union Cemetery- New Tripoli, PA. Online condolences may be recorded at www.nesterfuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory are requested to Jacobs Church Memorial Fund, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA, 18066.
