Matthew Valek Obituary
Matthew Joseph Valek, 54, of Allentown, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013. He was born in Allentown, the son of Stella (Fedok) and the late Alois Valek. His hobbies were riding his motorcycle, Epis, the great outdoors and music. Survivors: Sons, Christopher of Allentown, Derek of Kutztown, and Bryan of Bethlehem; brothers, Barry husband of Joanne of Emmaus and Robert husband of Kathy of Bel Air, MD; girlfriend, Linda Jaworski; grandchildren, Izabella and Christianna. Services: Celebration of Life 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 18, 2013, in Mountainville Fire Company, 2018 S. 4th St., Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements by Robert C Weir Funeral Home, 1802 W. Turner St., Allentown.

We said a painful good bye to Grammy Stella Valek who was hardly ever sick in her life. Always wanted you to eat if you came over. She was the most beautiful 98year old grammy to us.
March 2020 she had a stroke. And stayed about a week. And then went to be with her husband whom she never stopped talking about or loving. After it would have been over 70 years of marriage.
She is at peace now w AL and has Her babys ,Matts ashes in her hands w her. We miss our weekend visits so much. So many x I want to pick up the phone n call her. So many nights I would come over to the home and sit and talk to 1am
We went thru all her memories and boxed them up and divided and marked for each kid for when she left.
I would help her get her pjs on and we watched the late show in her bedroom.
Then I would kiss her good night and told each other love you and sweet dreams.
I am missing her so bad.

Dad I love you and know you love me. I breakdown every day thinking about you. I pray everyday for you. I'm a chip off the block. I have to remind myself that this is a reality everyday it's so unbelievable. I pray for my brother's your mother and Linda everyday...

I wish I had a time machine. I wish people were wiser. I wish your mother was not alone. I have to accept what people think and what people don't know everyday for everyone's sake. Wish people didn't escape truths. I break down every day thinking about you. I include you in every prayer. It's a nightmare. We know the life you knew. I'm a chip right off the block. I was there for it all. I love you Dad and I know that in the end you knew that. Everyday I wake up and have to convince myself this is real. I will never heal from this. Your mother is 98 as of Oct 8th this year. She's still so beautiful, sharp,and loving. I love you Dad I'm so sorry you are not here . I wish we would've knew the pain and others could accept themselves. You were such an impact in my life despite all. I try to do everything you did with us with your grandkids. Thank you for teaching me. I love you and know you are in heaven watching the flyers , Mets, and Jets games. Riding a dirtbikes around. I love you Dad

May you hold dear in your hearts all the wonderful memories Matt and you had together. Matt was a friend I had not seen for about 30 years, due to life going separate ways. But I started seeing him again recently at the fire house. My condolences to all of his family and friends. He was a good person and will be missed.

We knew him for 35 years..we live next to the Majerichs. Always a sweet and polite man. Used to come by to borrow a ladder...always returned it the next day. Did shots of tequilla with him and Steve out back a few times. Good memories. So sad...our deepest sympathies. Sharyn & Dan

To everyone that loved Matt, I'm truly sorry for your loss. This came as such a surprise. I knew Matt thru Dave Sell, Matt was a good friend to all who knew him. I haven't seen him in many years, but I will always remember having my teeth nearly knocked out at the sand pits in that Blue Toyota Land Cruiser he had when we were kids!
Dave, Frank, Steve, Matt, Mike and all those guys always found something fun to do! God bless you Matt, you will be sorely missed my many Kelly Higgins (dave sells old girlfriend)

Words cannot say what is in our hearts as we say farewell to a friend, neighbor, uncle & a big part of our family. We could always count on Matt to bring over Gatorade or ginger ale when one of us was ill. Or come to our many car & house emergencies. Even if we did not call and he would notice someone having a hard time he would never turn his head and go the other way he would go the extra mile for anyone. There are not many people in the world that would do that for someone. I still owe you a beer or two for picking me up & taking me when my car got inspected~ They say in heaven there is no beer but I will try to sneak one in when we meet again. Peace, Matt

Matt was our friend and neighbor for over 20 years, and was always there to help us in many ways. From chats and laughs, to sensing whenever we were having trouble with the lawn mower and cars, to being a Godsend when our marriage was on the rocks, and talking some sense into us (for which we're eternally grateful). He never took anything in return—just had a huge heart to do the right thing. We were blessed to have him in our lives and will miss him terribly. Our sincere condolences to Stella, Linda and the rest of his family and friends. God bless.

I will really miss you my friend you lived the true meaning of a friend. I really enjoyed our rides to work all the crazy conversations. The things we would do to make it through a long day and most of all your great sense of humor.
