Billy D. Pack
Billy D. Pack, 84, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on Sunday, January 5, 2014. He was born in Hall County, TX; son of the late Alvis and Mae Pack. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (McCully) Pack, they were married 60 years. Billy was a District Manager for AT&T from 1954 to 1983, then a Division Manager for Northern Telecom from 1984 until his retirement in 1989. He was a past president of the Lehigh Valley Verizon Telephone Pioneers, a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, Bethlehem, an avid bowler and golfer. He honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Michele Barletta and husband, Thomas, and Marsha Couture and husband, Marcel; grandchildren, Eric and Elyse Couture; sisters, Faye Simpson, Joyce Arnold, and Melba Smith. He was predeceased by four sisters; and two brothers. Services: Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Thursday, January 9, from 2 to 4 p.m., and again on Friday, from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow, in the funeral home.
