James Cenchitz Obituary

James S. Cenchitz
James S. Cenchitz, 61, of Bethlehem died tragically in a house fire on Monday, February 17, 2014. Jim was born September 21, 1952 in Allentown and he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Emma E. (Wagner) Cenchitz. He was a barber at the Mall Barber Shop at St. Lukes Professional Plaza in Phillipsburg, NJ. He will be sadly missed by his immediate family and his barber shop family. Jim was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, 5300 Green Pond Rd., Easton, PA. Jim enjoyed running his pet dog, Jada, at the Lehigh Parkway with his best friend, Mike. He also enjoyed working out at LA Fitness and of course spending time at the Jersey Shore with his nieces and nephew. Survivors: His twin brother, John S. Cenchitz and his wife, Judith, of Bethlehem; two nieces, Heather and Stacey; a nephew, Jared. Services: Memorial services will be Friday, February 21, at 1 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Northampton. Online condolences may be submitted to www.reichelfuneralhome.com. Contributions: Memorials may be presented to the Calvary Baptist Church or Animals in Distress c/o funeral home.

Our dear a brother Jim who was part of our Life Group. Jim was greatly loved by us all. He loved God and loved people. I will miss his gentle manner and his laugh. We worked out at the gym and always talked about The Lord. I will miss you Jim.
