I had the pleasure of knowing Al Parry at our B-52 squadron at McCoy Air Force Base during the Vietnam conflict. Years later we had the opportunity to fly the DC-9 at Northwest Airlines together for a month and really enjoying our Nova Scotia overnights . Al was a professional and sometimes would bring his wood pens he said he was making at the time. He was truly a gifted artist and a wonderful person . I also learned of this loss by reading ALPA magazine . My best to Nancy and the family . He was always a pleasure to be around

Nancy, I knew of Al at BW but came to know him personally at Northwest Airlines where we were both based in Detroit. He was a gentle soul and a very nice guy. I learned of his passing through the ALPA magazine. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
