Kermit H. "Kurt" Bieber

Kermit H. "Kurt" Bieber, 86, of New York City, passed away December 31, 2015. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Paul T., Sr. and Sallie R. (Snyder) Bieber. A 1946 Emmaus High School graduate, he worked locally at Sears before serving in the Army during the Korean War. Thereafter he moved to New York where he studied drama, dance and voice at The American Theatre Wing and was a member of Screen Actors Guild. Survivors: Surviving are sisters, Norma J., wife of Richard Grammes, of Coplay, and Caroline M., wife of Delano Bortz, of Macungie, brother Lloyd Bieber of Miami, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Paul T., Jr. and Dale W. Bieber. Services: Service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. A calling hour will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment in church cemetery will follow.
