Helen Bandura
Helen Bandura, 81, of Whitehall, died May 4th in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Stephen Bandura, who died May, 20, 1990. Born in North Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Walek and Mary (Terfinko) Saganowich. Helen worked for Regals Sportswear for 21 years prior to retiring and previously for Clyde Shirt Factory, both of Northampton. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, where she was a pierogi maker and a member of the Friendly Fifties. She was a member of Cementon Athletic Association ladies auxiliary. Survivors: Sons, Stephen D. Jr. and wife Deborah of Perkasie, Barry W. and wife Judy of Whitehall; daughter, Diane M. wife of Barry Morrell of Coplay; 7 grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8th, Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Divine Liturgy, 10:30 a.m. in the church with the very Rev. David Clooney officiating.
