Jerry Ray Finley NEBO Jerry Ray Finley, 69, of Nebo, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. Born Nov. 22, 1943, in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Jabez Finley and Blanche Louise Finley. Jerry was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Johnston. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gwendolyn Tuten Finley; daughter, Lisa Finley Hicks, of Nebo; son, Steven Jerry Finley, of Marion; and grandchildren, Nicholas Hicks, Stephanie Hicks, Victoria Hicks, Luke Finley and Shawnee Finley. The family will receive friends today (Sunday, Feb. 10), from 1 to 4 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Finley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
