JULY 28 1925 - AUGUST 18, 2012
Jesse Jantz, a longtime resident of Livingston passed away peacefully Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Turlock, CA.  Jesse was born July 28, 1925 in Copeland, Kansas to John and Lydia Jantz.  He moved with his family to California when he was 11 years old.  Jesse was a local farmer for many years and he served as a missionary in Mexico for 16 yrs.  Mr. Jantz is survived by his wife of 67 yrs., Ida Jantz and his children Alice Jantz of Livingston, Violet Koehn of Alberta, Canada, and Gwendolyn Yost & husband Dennis of Iowa.  He is also survived by his son-in-law Earl Koehn of Mississippi and his siblings John Jantz of Atwater, Irvin Jantz of Arizona and Doris Jantz of Livingston.  He leaves to cherish is his memory 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and a great many friends.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 3 to 7pm at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, 1290 Winton Way, Atwater, CA.  Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2pm at the Church of God in Christ Mennonite, 13483 W. Peach Ave, Livingston, CA.  Burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery, Winton, CA.
