Adolph Testa

1921 - 2012

Adolph G. Testa was born on November 15, 1921 in Merced, CA and passed away peacefully in Merced on September 19, 2012. He served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1946.  Was a member of the Itlo Lodge.  He was a lifelong farmer with his father and brothers until joining Central Ca Tomato Growers, where he was a member from 1946-1969.
He was an avid Fisherman and Hunter.  But his greatest joy was Easter Celebrations in the backyard with family, friends and food with homemade raviolis.
He leaves his loving wife Jeronima (Jerry), daughter Becky Williamson (Bob), grandchildren Amy Widick and Bobby Williamson (Joella), Great Grandchildren Alysan, Lindsey and Hailey Widick and Grant Williamson.
He is also survived by his brothers Andy Testa (Stella), Charlie Testa (Bernice) and numerous nephews and nieces.  He will truly be missed by all.
The services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 459 West 21st Street, Merced on Tuesday, September 25, 2012.  Rosary will be held at 9:30am and Mass at 10:00am.  Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In leiu of flowers donations can be made to Merced Hinds Hospice and Valley Children's Hospital.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ivers and Alcorn.
