LARRY TERRY Obituary

September 3, 1952 ~ September 18, 2010

Larry Eugene Terry, a longtime Merced resident, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born September 3, 1952 in Roseville, CA to Cathie and Robert Terry. Larry was a car salesman for 25 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Atwater.

Larry's passion was fishing-he moved to Alaska for four years to fish and caught ones that no one could even come close too. He was also an avid race car fan as he was the Pit Boss for his dad when Robert was racing. Larry tried racing his dad's car once and crashed it so he remained in the crew. He enjoyed camping and traveling but the true love and joy in his life was his family. Larry was a beloved father, grandfather and son and will be deeply missed.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother Cathie Terry and his daughter Catherine Dawn Terry.

Larry is survived by his loving father Robert Terry, his daughters Jennifer "Angel" Estrada (Ralph), and Bridgett Terry. He also leaves his siblings Bob Terry Jr. and Sheryle Kester. Larry will be greatly missed by his four grandchildren Jordan, Christopher, Rafael and Miranda.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, 1290 Winton Way, Atwater. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The First Baptist Church, 1683 Fifth Street, Atwater with Pastor Steve Shumaker officiating. Burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Family Funeral Chapel of Atwater.
