MILDRED DEES Obituary
Mildred "Milly" Dees ,72, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, in Madera,CA after her lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 22, 1937, to John Guillemin, Jr. and Evelyn Comben Guillemin in Mt. Clemens, MI. As a young girl she moved with her family to California and settled in the Raymond area of Madera County. Milly was a graduate of Raymond High School, Class of 1955. She was always active in the Madera County community serving as the President of the Alview-Dairyland PTA, a 4 H leader and had been an avid bowler involved with many leagues and teams.
Milly worked as a school bus driver at the Alview-Dairyland School for 32 years and also worked as a reading specialist. She loved kids and enjoyed watching them grow. Milly touched a lot of lives.
Milly is survived by her husband, Bill Dees of Madera; two daughters, Julie Dees Pickhinke and her husband Michael of Madera, Jeanne Philp and her husband Albert of Madera; her sister, Lola Gist of Madera; two grandchildren, Mikayla and Will Philp of Madera and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private cremation services were held under the direction of Jay Chapel. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date for family and friendsMemorials may be sent to Hinds Hospice 1616 W. Shaw #A-5. Fresno, CA 93711

I have great Memories of Mrs. Dees she always had a smile every morning when us kids got on the bus, She was mine and then later my son's bus driver. The Community will miss a Great Lady and Friend. My heart goes out to the Family.
