THELMA JOHNSON Obituary
Thelma B. Johnson was born on January 30th of 1929 in San Diego, California to the late Wesley Edward and Alice Lydia (Carleton) Barth. She passed away at the age of 81 on Friday, October 22nd of 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for 63 years. She married her late husband Mr. Sidney "R.A." Johnson on November 4th in 1947 in Reno, Nevada. Thelma and her husband were the founders of Sid Johnson Plumbing and Johnson Plumbing who is currently owned today by their son Greg Johnson.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Sidney "R.A." Johnson in 1988, he was a retired contractor. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters Rita Johnson and Ruby Sprotte.
Thelma is survived by her children: Jennifer Gantney (Eugene), Rhonda Johnson, Deborah Wohltman (William) all of Merced and Greg Johnson (Sharon) of Le Grand, California. Also surviving Thelma is her brother Arnold Barth of Clear Lake, CA, her sister Elsie McNally of Mariposa, CA, 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and a host of numerous nieces and nephews.
No services will be held, as per her request.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Aunt Thelma will be deeply missed. She was such a caring person who loved her family so much. I will treasure all the happy memories I have of her and Uncle Sid. Love to all my cousins.

We will all miss Thelmas presence, She left alot of herself in her children, which has allowed them to be blessings to others as well. She made me a better person and a better manager of thier family business. My heart goes out to all those that were close to her, she left behind a legacy. she will be missed. shalom
