Ty Richard Carlucci was born November 4, 1973 in John Day, Oregon and passed away on January 17, 2013 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, surrounded by family.  After his death, Ty donated his corneas and bone to the California Transplant Donor Network to help others.
In 1975, Ty and his family relocated to Dos Palos he attended local schools and graduated from Dos Palos High in 1991.  After graduation, Ty attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona and became certified as a Private Pilot/Single Engine.  Ty returned to Dos Palos in 1995 and moved to Watsonville in September of 2009.  In February of 2011, Ty was diagnosed with Pulmonary Artery Hypertension and Atrial Septal Defect.  In 2012, Ty moved to Ceres with his cousin Justin Mattila.  Shortly after relocating, he was diagnosed with Kidney Minimal Change Disease and the beginning of heart failure.
Preceded in death by his father Richard Carlucci; Grandparents Nana Josephine and Papa James Carlucci; Grandfather John Mattila; two uncles, Jimmy Carlucci and Gary Mattila.
Ty is survived by his son Josh Carlucci, mother Sanna (Mattila) Carlucci, Sister Rochelle Carlucci, grandmother Margaret Mattila, Nephew Joseph, and niece Jaeanna.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Los Banos District Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.
