BACHINT UPPAL Obituary
Bachint Kaur Uppal ~ 97, of Merced, passed away at home, in the comforting arms of her beloved son. Bachint was born in India, and was married at the young age of 13, to her late husband Swaran Uppal, whom preceded her in death in 2009.
Bachint and Swaran, came to live in the US briefly in 1980, only to return to Afghanistan a few years later. She and Swaran returned to the US in 1995, at which time they made the Merced area their home.
Bachint was a extremely hard working and honest woman, she was very honorable and dedicated her life to her children. She was a lucky woman to have three wonderful children, whom loved and respected her.
She is survived by her children; Lachhman Singh Uppal of Turlock, Satnam Singh Uppal of Merced, Harjinder Kaur Johal of Newark, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
The funeral service will be held at Allen Mortuary Sunday, December 5th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
