ELSIE SOUTO

Elsie Marie Souto, 40, was born in Oakdale, CA to parents Serafim and Gabriela Souto. She moved to Los Banos with the family in 1975, where she attended local schools. Elsie was very important to her family and was always there for them. She was a provider of rides, information, the keeper of schedules, addresses and events. She enjoyed trips with her brothers and their families to Santa Cruz, Reno, Las Vegas, concerts and Oakland A's games. She was always there to talk to and help everyone. She loved all things chihuahua and had been given an immense collection of items. She was dearly loved by her brothers and will be very deeply missed by her beloved chihuahua, "Daisy" and her very loving parents.

Elsie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Joe and Anna Pinheiro, paternal grandfather Francisco Souto. She is survived by her loving parents Serafim and Gabriela Souto, brother Cliff Souto of Nevada; brother Mike Souto and his wife Sandy of Los Banos, nieces and nephews Aimee, Mike Jr., Michelle and Melanee; dear friends Sandy Mello and family, Angel Baffunno and family; many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by her grandmother, Anna Souto

A Visitation and Rosary will be Monday, Sept. 27th beginning at 5pm Rosary at 7pm Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, Mass will be Tuesday, Sept. 28th at 10am St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Los Banos Cemetery.
