GERALD BROWN Obituary

June 3, 1931 - October 24, 2010

Gerald Glenn Brown was born to Thomas Delmar Brown and Beulah Mae Brown in Flippen, Arkansas on June 3, 1931. Moving to California as a young man, he drove heavy equipment for Favier Farms for several years. He then became a certified welder, holding jobs in Merced and Modesto before taking a position with Atwater's J.R. Wood fruit company, from which he retired in 1994. In recent years he became a member of the Winton First Southern Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and whittling.

He died October 24, 2010, and is survived by his wife, Pauline Brown of Atwarer; brother, L. D. Brown of Clovis; children, Donna Williams of Lincoln, Nebraska; Jerry Brown of Rathdrum, Idaho; Bill Brown of Merced; Peggy Borgman of Stevinson; foster son Troy Stephenson of Atwater; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services at 2 P.M., October 30, in the Winton First Southern Baptist Church.

Arrangements by Whitton Family Funeral Service.

I have lots of wonderful memories of Uncle Gerald, mostly of the times spent at Grandma and Grandpa Brown's house in Chowchilla. My father loved him very much and misses him dearly.
