KIM TAYLOR Obituary

Kim Taylor (born Kim Ellen Jones) passed away on September 29, 2010 at her home in Atwater after years of battling several complex medical issues.
Kim was born at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida on November 3, 1958 to parents Edgar and Katherine Jones. The Jones family eventually relocated to Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, where Kim was a graduate of Atwater High School. She later married Bob Taylor, with whom she had two wonderful children, Janey and Jason. Later divorced, Kim spent many years working as a medical assistant in Merced.
Kim will be remembered for being a loving and involved mother, having a vivacious personality, decorating elaborate cakes, meticulously keeping a garden of both vegetables and flowers, her affinity for arts and crafts, and being a beloved and helpful daughter and friend. However, she may be best remembered as being an amazing, loving grandmother to her granddaughters who affectionately referred to her as 'Nonnie.'
Kim is survived by her parents, daughter Janey Jennings and son-in-law Matt Jennings, son Jason Taylor and daugther-in-law Michelle Taylor, granddaughters Katelyn, Megan and Faith, brothers Keith and Kevin Jones, and sister Karen Dow.
A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Monday, October 4th at 11:00 AM, Gateway Community Church in Merced 353 E. Donna Drive Merced, CA 95340
