MARY PETERSON-RINEHART Obituary
Mary passed away in Merced on August 3, 2010 in her sleep. Mary was 8 when her father was stationed at Castle. She joined the Girls Scouts as a Brownie and attained the rank of Senior. Mary graduated from Atwater High School in 1979 and worked at the NCO Club on base right after High School. She traveled, got married & settled in Merced.
She was preceded in death by her father Allen Peterson and her daughter Mica Tanner. She is survived by her mother Arlene Peterson, her sister Trese Peterson in Winton, Brothers John Peterson (Mary) of Dallas, TX. and James Peterson (Kathy) of Vermont, three nieces, and one Nephew. Mary was under the care of Hinds Hospice.
Memorial Service will be held on Sat October 23, at 10 am at St. Anthony's Church in Atwater on Winton Way.

Marys a good friend of mine, weve been in the same classes for about the last 10 yrs of school, Happy Girl! Always fun to be with. My heart goes out to her family, shes in Gods hands now,she will be well taken cared of.Shes going to be missed.
