Robert Wayne Palone, born to Fountain and Bernice Palone on April 12, 1947 in Westville, Oklahoma passed away on August 13, 2014 in Atwater, Ca at the age of 67.  Bob served his country proudly. He was drafted into the United States Army where he served in Vietnam.  He was awarded 2 purple hearts and a bronze star for his service.  He served two terms in the United States Army and one term in the Navy. He was a member of the Winton VFW.  Bob loved his country and hung his American Flag proudly outside his home.  He loved fishing and was a LA Dodger fan.  He was known for his sense of humor and his story telling. 
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years; Juanita Palone, 2 daughters; Bernice Palone (Stephan) and Regina Palone, one brother; Billy Palone,  4 grandchildren; Dasaun Dicochea, Mia Dicochea, Sebastian Silva and Hermione Silva and numerous nieces and nephews.  He also leaves his best friend, his cat Chiquita AKA Fred.  He is preceded in death by his father Fountain, his stepfather; Derald Lanum and mother; Bernice Lanum, one sister; Elizabeth and two brothers.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 1:30 PM at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
