ROBERT HARDING Obituary

1922 ~ 2010

Robert Warren Harding of Spokane, Washington and Atwater California passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010. He was 88 years old.

Mr. Harding was born in Spokane in 1922, where he lived until joining the Navy in 1942. While in the Navy, he helped repair the landing craft used during the invasion of the Philippines under the command of General MacArthur. After leaving the Navy, he became a civil service instructor for the Air Force. He retired in 1987, after nearly 46 years of federal service.

Mr. Harding was preceded in death by his son Jack. He is survived by Donna, his wife of 67 years, his sister Lillian, his daughter Jill and her husband Darrell, his daughter Sue and her husband Kosta, his son Steve and his wife Martha, six Grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Harding and Jill--I was very sad to read of the loss of your husband. I remember with great fondness how he gave great bowling lessons. My prayers surround you.
