I had the opportunity to see Thad pitch a few games in Vancouver when he would come to town as a member of the enemy Spokane Indians. Thad spent four seasons in the Pacific Coast League with Spokane from 1962 thru 1966.

Monta, my deepest sympathies for your loss. It was a great pleasure to get to know Thad during my days at the bowling alley. As a kid I followed his baseball career being a big Yankee fan and him being a Merced native. I always enjoyed hearing his baseball stories, they left me in awe as that was a different era of the game and he played with some of the greats. I ran into both of you at the T ball closing ceremonies in Atwater a couple years ago and Thad was so nice to take pictures with my Team(Yankees of course) and also visit with some of the kids. It meant alot to them to meet a Real Yankee! My prayers go out to you and the whole family.

Dear Family. My heartfelt sympathy. I was married to Thad's cousin, Jimmy Parsley. I loved listening to Thad's musical voice. Sweet memories of Thad. He will be missed. Carol Parsley-Stephenson

I worked with Thad for 26+ years at Ragu. He was my first boss and put me on the hardest job in the plant. Didn't care too much for him then but we soon became Buds. Always enjoyed and looked forward to our weekend golf trips with Bradley and Eugene Brienig (also deceased). Especially liked the stories about his baseball career and when he was Mickey Mantles road roommate. Great life and greater guy. God bless your family. Bradley, give me a call and maybe we can play a round of golf in your dads honor.

Well, I remember when I was 10 to 12 years old and we used to make kites at your house. Later, I spent many nights watching you play ball at McNamara Park as we had moved into town. Lastly, I had the privlege of hearing you sing at Christian Life Center. Thanks for the memories.
