Velma was a genuine and caring woman and won the hearts of all that crossed her path. She loved children (especially babies) and animals. She was known for her unselfish attitude and willingness to help her family and those around her with grace and kindness. She exemplified a woman of yesteryear where physical hard work was not uncommon for women of this era. She was strong in spirit and a woman that held the highest regard for always doing the right thing in her path in life. Considered a soft spoken woman but held the strength about her that was admirable to those that knew her best. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
