Mark was a great friend for many years, he will be missed. Mark was the kindest, caring and sweetest man. Whenever we worked together he was always the first person I looked for so we could give each other the biggest hug ever and the last hug at the end of the night. Mark I will miss you, your giant bear hugs and the sweet nature you were. I am so proud to call you my friend,
Respectful I won't be able to attend your service but you are always in my heart.... hopefully you'll watch over me, I need an angel like you, xoxo

Miss you Mark. We will have a drink with you when we get to heaven.

Mark was our favorite bartender ever. He was a great guy. Always had a joke to tell, a pictrure to show, something interesting to say. Always had our drink ready before qwe sat down at the bar. He was the reason why we always loved to go to Embassy Suites. Embassy will never be the same without him. I'm sure all of our friends at the bar feel the same way. We will miss you Mark. God bless you. Your friends Bob and Susan

I had the pleasure of working with Mark first at Carlos Goldstein's and then again years later at the Embassy Suites. He was always in good spirits and was a fun guy to be around. I'd like to send my deepest condolences to his family. He went home too soon, but know this: "There is no death, only a change of worlds." His joyful spirit will live forever. Until we meet again, rest in peace fine friend.

Gonna miss you Mark. You were a gentle Giant. I feel fortunate to have met you. I'm really sad to know I'll never get to hear your incredibly funny laugh. The Embassy will never be the same. Rest In Peace Buddy

I send my prayers and love to Mark's loved ones! Regretfully, I will not be able to make the service due to my fathers' soon pending home going. Please know that Mark was SPECIAL TO ME! I've known him for more than 16 years from the Embassy Suites. He was the sweetest, giving soul. When my husband passed away he consoled me and sat with me almost every night and watched TV with me at the Embassy Lounge and with me he shared his beloved french fries with vinager....Oh and yeah and his candy! He will be missed and know that he was and will always be loved!!

What a loss. Met Mark way back when he was at Carlos Goldsteins. Being half Filipino and half Swedish ourselves, we immediately hit it off with Mark and had a number of great jokes about our heritage, among other things. Over the years, when our family held receptions or had out of town guests, we'd always frequent Embassy Suites in Milpitas because of Mark. Simply put, he was just a great guy and friend, and he will be truly missed. May he rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to Mark's family.

Very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I haven't seen Mark in many years, but remember the fun times we had back in the '80s. RIP
