Resident of San Jose
An adventurous, spirited woman who loved her family above all else, died peacefully at home on May 20th. She leaves behind five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Toni was born and raised in San Francisco. A 1928 graduate of Star of the Sea Catholic School, Toni went to Business School where she studied to become an executive secretary. She had a long and happy career working for DuPont Chemical and the San Mateo County Juvenile Department. In 1944 she married the love of her life Ty. They moved to Redwood City where they raised their two daughters.
In retirement, Toni and Ty enjoyed square dancing, traveling the world, and spending time with their longtime neighbors and friends. In 2001 they moved to San Jose to be closer to their daughters' families.
