George Gregory passed away peacefully at the age of 96. He was the loving and devoted husband of Gladys for 56 years.
After the attack at Pearl Harbor he enlisted in the Army Air Corp to join the war effort. He served 4 years overseas as an airplane mechanic and Tech Sgt. He married Gladys Emmert and raised their daughters in San Jose. George was employed by FMC, where he started as a Test Track driver and reached the position of Superintendent.
George and Gladys lived here 45 years before they built their dream home in the mountains. They spent many years traveling the country in their retirement. George lovingly devoted his care to Gladys in her illness. He spent 12 years after her death, living independently in their home.
He leaves behind his daughters, Gayle Byers and Geri Beeler and son-in law, David Byers. Proud grandfather of Scott Byers, Jonathan Byers, Jennifer Beeler and Nathan Beeler, as well as great-grandfather of Joey and Benjamin.
Services on May 21, 2014 at 12 noon at Darling Fischer Chapel of the Hills 615 N. Santa Cruz Avenue Los Gatos, California 95030
