Jules George Phirippidis was an extraordinary man with unforgettable charisma, wit, and humor, who lived a life full of worldly adventures, lasting friendships, and loving family. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, Jules came to America at the age of 18. He became an educator and imparted his unparalleled humor and wisdom to countless students over his 33 year tenure as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Peterson, Wilcox, and New Valley High Schools. Of all his accomplishments, Jules was most proud of his family. He dearly loved his wife, five children, and three granddaughters. His family and all those lucky enough to know Jules will carry on his memory through his magnificent life stories. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 27 at 3:00 p.m. at the Corinthian Grand Ballroom in San Jose.
