Lee Roat, 90, died November 8, 2013 at Vintage Coventry in San Francisco, California.
Lee was born in St Louis, MO on June 19, 1923, the daughter of Leitha and William Lannin. She attended Michigan State University
where she met her husband, Bob. She loved fashion and was a model, bookkeeper and Girl Scout leader.
Lee is survived by her daughters Robin and Kyle, sons Jess and Tobin, grandchildren Kye, Ladd, Haley, Brandin, Jenna, Tobias and Katelyn, great grandchildren Bodie, Tanner, Drake and Sophie and her nephew Lannin and grandniece Leitha. She was especially close to and loved by Bob's nieces Karen and Pat and nephew Jack Lee. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill and sister, Betty.
Lee loved and cherished her family. She had a big heart and was kind, clever, creative, and quick to laugh. She was beautiful inside and out, both graceful and classy. She was a talented homemaker and an amazing seamstress. Sunday afternoon meals meant a delicious formal meal, with the whole family gathered around. She enjoyed a loving and devoted marriage with her husband Bob for seventy years. She is loved dearly by her friends and family and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at The United Methodist Church in Burlingame, CA, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00AM, 1443 Howard Street. A private family ceremony will follow.
