. Later he joined the Peninsula Golf and Country Club and became an enthusiastic member of Kiwanis. Over his twenty-three years of service with Kiwanis Nick served as a board member and treasurer and also spearheaded the San Mateo Club Holiday Shopping Program for Children. In recognition of his exceptional loyalty and devotion, he was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award in 1995 and the Outstanding Service Award in 2010. Nick's keen curiosity led him to travel the world with his wife Stella.
