Thomas Hunter

Thomas V. Hunter Resident of Los Gatos Oct. 14, 1946 - Dec. 31, 2012 Thomas, better known to all as "Tony", 66, died suddenly Dec. 31, at his home in Los Gatos, CA. Tony was preceded in death by his devoted mother Corine Lightner, and just recently by his loving wife Wanda. He is survived by his sister Jean Holmes of Fairfield, CA; and his nephew Arryl Holmes of San Diego, CA. He will be sorely missed by his family the Holmes, Hunters, Stepneys, and Hills; his closest friends the Muccigrossos, Whites, Reids, Pettys, Scavardas and Morenos; his in-laws, the Parsons and Fraziers; the Deans and Ellen Johnsen. He unconditionally loved, cared for, and respected them all. Tony respected mankind and will be missed by many friends and acquaintances. He was a highly respected teacher in the Alum Rock school district and had looked forward to substitute teaching after the holidays. He enjoyed helping young minds develop. He was a proud graduate and team member of the C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) Program. He was passionate about being of service. Moving into Spring with the birth of new life, a memorial and celebration of Tony's "old and new" life will be held at the History Club of Los Gatos, 123 Los Gatos Blvd., Los Gatos, CA. on Sunday, Mar. 24, from 2-5pm.
